Accounting Technician Apprentice

Lead by Gail McEvoy, we are one of the leading accountancy firms in the North East consisting of accountants, tax consultants, auditors, bookkeeping and payroll specialists. Due to growing demands we are looking to offer a successful candidate an opportunity to work with us, beginning immediately, while studying to be an Accounting Technician with Accounting Technicians Ireland (ATI) commencing in September.

The successful candidate will experience a combination of study and working as part of a dynamic team of accounting professionals with a primary focus on Bookkeeping, VAT and Income Tax.

Overview of the Apprenticeship:

This 2-year programme is perfect for those who are looking to kick start their accounting career. The ATI September apprenticeship applications are currently open. You will attend college every Monday, both in person and online once a week, and then work with your employer the other 4 days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) The college will run for 30 weeks from Mid-September. Outside of the 30 weeks of college when there is no college, you will work with your employer 5 days a week (Monday to Friday). College is FREE as it is fully funded by Solas. Your employer will pay you a starting salary. You will have 4 modules in each year, support from ATI, your local college and your employer too.
