Friday, 16 May 2014: Internationally acclaimed mentor, executive coach, speaker, consultant and author, Veronica Canning is coming to Drogheda on Tuesday, 27th May to speak at Network Ireland Louth Meath’s monthly women in business networking meeting in The d hotel at 7pm. Veronica recently launched a new book called “YOUR BRAND” and will share how women can create their own personal brand and how to develop it into a killer brand that ensures that you can build a fantastic career that will bring you to the top.
Veronica Canning is one of Ireland’s leading business contributors, with 30 years’ experience of working to board level in global companies across a wide variety of industries. Veronica now spends most of her time working with senior executives in blue chip companies to address leadership challenges. Using her unique insights and practical solutions she works with them to develop an executive presence, and to craft or repair their unique personal brands.
Veronica’s clients rely on her discretion and deep experience to guide them in identifying barriers to their success and implement solutions of the highest quality. An excellent listener, she uses practical solutions to guide people to new level of understanding, enabling them to reframe, and overcome their challenges. A hallmark of her approach is her ability to encourage people to make ambitious plans for their future and to fulfil those ambitions using her many creative thinking tools.

Internationally, Veronica has worked with the EU in Bosnia rolling out one of her customised programmes for key leadership figures in the post war reconstruction effort. She has also travelled extensively both in her work with Trocaire, and as Secretary General of the Red Cross.
As a speaker, she is highly sought after for her motivational speeches on personal performance and business issues, most recently addressing audiences in Dubai and China. As an author, Canning has been published in Ireland, the UK and the United States. Her seventh publication, ‘Your Brand’ has just been published to widespread critical acclaim.
Veronica is a past President of the Professional Speakers Association of Ireland, a member of the Global Speakers Federation and a respected executive mentor and was the first Mentor for WXN in Ireland, and is a member of the Institute of Directors in Ireland.
